More than a decade’s passed since that fateful day, but she remembers it like it were yesterday. And while many things have changed over the years, her goal of being a writer has never faltered. Geeta graduated from Endicott College with a degree in communications and a journalism concentration in 2010, and spent as much of her education writing as she possibly could; she wrote poems, short stories, published articles, won various competitions and interned with two luxury lifestyle magazines – Boston Common in Boston, Massachusetts and Jade Magazine in Hyderabad, India.
At present, she's the assistant editor of a Connecticut newspaper and freelances for BookBub and Saffron & Sage.
When she's not writing—or thinking about writing—Geeta likes to read, run, travel and explore. She enjoys adventuring with her husband, snuggling their rabbit Hemingway and cat Hermione, playing in the mountains of Vermont, strolling through the streets of Boston, drinking coconut water in India, and spending time with family and friends. She likes a lot more than she doesn't, and a list of grievances wouldn't contain much more than mushrooms, mosquitoes, drama, ignorance and poor grammar.
Geeta grew up in Connecticut, and as the second youngest of five children, there's never been a dull moment.
Currently, she's working on her next two novels, one of which takes place in India.
